Well-Being Services Section Director, Georgia Division of Family and Children Services
Overseeing a budget of over $32 million within the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services, Carmen Callaway manages multiple statewide programs and funding initiatives that support the well-being of children and families within Georgia’s child welfare system. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Callaway was a leader in helping to developing a $10 million statewide pandemic relief stimulus program for youth who have exited foster care, and leading a team, in partnership with the United Way of Greater Atlanta, to support over $4 million of learning loss support to organizations across the state of Georgia.
Callaway has been a member of the Junior League of Atlanta since 2012 and is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
