Assistant Professor, Columbus State University
Chandler Padgett (D.N.P. ’22) is an assistant nursing professor in the School of Nursing at Columbus State University, as well as a practicing nurse practitioner and member of various professional and civic organizations related to health. At Columbus State, Padgett has received numerous awards for outstanding teaching from the school, the Honors College and the university. She also serves on the university’s Internal Review Board, study abroad committee and the College of Education and Health Professionals curriculum committee.
A recent appointee of the Columbus City Council to the city’s Board of Family and Children Services, Padgett also serves as the legislative chair for the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners of Georgia and is an active member of United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of West Georgia, the Georgia Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association.
