Atlanta native Jarvarus Gresham (J.D. ’19) is an attorney at BakerHostetler LLP where he represents National Football League teams, Major League Baseball teams and healthcare entities in litigation. While representing his wide range of clients through all stages of litigation, he remains entrenched in his hometown community and is actively involved with many civic, mentorship and philanthropic organizations. Gresham is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., serves on the Atlanta Legal Aid Society’s service council as the pro bono chair, chairs the Operation Community Uplift Committee of the Emerging 100 of Atlanta and is a member of LEAD Atlanta’s Class of 2024, among other community organizations.
At Georgia State, Gresham serves on the Law Alumni Council, mentors law school students and chairs the school’s student relations committee. He is co-chair of the Black Law Students Association’s (BLSA) 40th Anniversary Gala for the College of Law, and in the Spring 2024 semester serves as an adjunct professor. Gresham takes pride in being the namesake of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Jarvarus A. Gresham Grit Award for the Summer Law Internship Program (SLIP). He took part in SLIP as a high school student and cites it as changing the trajectory of his life.
