Associate Vice President of Philanthropy & Programs, Scholarship America
Kyle Walcott (B.B.A. ’13) serves as the associate vice president of philanthropy and programs for the national nonprofit Scholarship America, the largest provider of private scholarships in the country. In this capacity, he oversees comprehensive fundraising and partnership efforts for the organization. Before that, he served as the senior director of institutional giving for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, managing strategic partnerships and grant relationships with corporate and foundation prospects. Since beginning his fundraising career in 2015, he’s secured approximately $12 million in funds from foundations, corporations and individuals for programmatic initiatives and special events within the nonprofit education industry.
With a deep commitment to service, Walcott is a dedicated mentor to college students — including many from Georgia State — through his active engagement with the Emerging 100, an auxiliary of 100 Black Men of Atlanta. With the Emerging 100, of which he’s a member of the executive board and a former president, he’s administered or participated in a variety of programs that promote the academic, personal and emotional well-being of members of the Collegiate 100, the 100 Black Men mentorship pipeline.
