Chief Executive Officer, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) TriStar Skyline Medical Center
A healthcare professional with more than 16 years of experience, mostly in executive leadership roles, Mark Miller (MBA ’08, M.H.A. ’09) is the chief executive officer of TriStar Skyline Medical Center. Miller has led the Nashville health system, part of the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), to achieve the state designation of being a Level 1 trauma facility, one providing the highest level of care for patients with the most traumatic injuries. Previously, Miller was the chief executive with HCA facilities in West Hills, Calif., and Lake City, Fla., as well as the chief operating officer at three others.
Active with a variety of civic and professional organizations, Miller derives his greatest joy as a certified youth football coach, coaching and mentoring young athletes for the past several years. He is also a mentor to Georgia State students through its Institute of Health Administration. Additionally, he mentors and provides professional development and hands-on experience to Panthers through his volunteering with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
