CEO/Owner, Preferred Roofing Supply
Paul Salamanca (B.B.A. ‘13) is a first-generation college graduate and became the first person in his family to own a business when he and his spouse Daniela Ramirez (B.B.A. ’13) founded Preferred Roofing Supply. The Salamancas’ company is a pioneer in the roofing supply industry as one of the first Latino-owned roofing distributors in Georgia. It was named 2019 Supplier of the Year from the Georgia Hispanic Construction Association and received the Small Business Award from the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce in 2021.
Salamanca has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to support the Latino community. He endowed the Salamanca Scholarship at the Robinson College of Business, which supports first-generation students interested in entrepreneurship who are leaders in the Latino community. He has also funded a back-to-school drive for Meadowcreek High School and continues to support and uplift his community.
