Owner/CEO, MGK Hospitality
In 2015, Takashi Otsuka opened his first restaurant, WaGaYa, as an owner-chef and opened a second location in the Emory Village in 2017. In total, Otsuka has opened four restaurants and one grocery store since 2015, grossing over $18 million in sales across all of his businesses. This rapid expansion led to the formation of a parent company, MGK Hospitality, where Otsuka serves as CEO and owner.
Little Known Fact:
During his time at Georgia State, Otsuka was the first breakdance instructor at the Student Recreation Center and the president of the dance crew.
