An entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, Terrence Hight Jr. (B.A. ’13) founded Hight Health to connect individuals from underserved populations to healthcare. He has led projects for organizations such as Optum360, Dignity Health System, Northwell Health and WellStar Health System and has helped establish more than 800 startup companies, trained over 2,500 minority entrepreneurs and assisted in securing over $2 million in funding.
Hight has served Georgia State University as a part-time instructor in the Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions, and his companies have provided more than a dozen internships to Georgia State students. He has presented and spoken to organizations such as the Urban League of Greater Atlanta, the National Medical Association, Georgia Department of Public Health, Chase for Business, AARP, Wells Fargo and Truist.
